Discovering Africa

My first step towards discovering Africa is Ghana. The 6 hour flight makes European consulting look like a vacation. I've been told that Ghana is actually a very developed country compared to others in Africa. Well, in that case I'm curious to see the rest.

Our offices are close to the airport, with a beautiful view of unfinished construction work.

I don't know if there are any supermarkets in Ghana, but they're certainly not needed: you can buy almost everything at the roadside. And if you can't find what you need there, there are plenty of people walking around with even more stuff to sell.

Surprisingly, Ghana is quite expensive, even though the currency has lost about 50% in the last couple of months. The good thing is that people are very friendly and it's extremely safe.

Definitely worth a trip.
